A very popular, small, deciduous tree with a low branching, widely pyramidal habit. Long lasting, white blooms appear in spring. The dark green leaves turn scarlet red in fall before dropping. Bright red fruits mature in autumn, attracting birds to the landscape. Beautiful as a specimen or as a small grouping.  A lovely and graceful tree that performs best in moist acidic soil with morning sun and some afternoon shade.
