A hardy perennial with magenta-pink flowers that are clove-scented and attract butterflies. Blooms heavily in early summer, intermittently in summer, and often again in fall; particularly when deadheaded consistently. Silvery blue, needle-like, 6" tall, evergreen foliage lay below the 8" tall flower masses. Grows and blooms best in loose, well drained, slightly alkaline soil in full sun. Use as a contrast in the garden, in containers, and as a short border front.
