MINIMUM ORDER:
We do not require a minimum number of plants per order; however, we ship only to the continental United States. We provide hardy stock that is free of pest and disease, and meets all state and federal plant regulations. Products listed may not be available for shipment to all states, due to state or federal quarantine regulations.
All plants are shipped in a box without the pot and without soil mix. The roots are moistened prior to wrapping in moisture retention materials. These bare root plants conform to the size specifications and meet all state and federal plant size regulations. If you prefer, we can box ship your plant in the container with the soil; however, additional shipping charges apply as the soil and container can add up to 30 pounds or more. You need to call to obtain shipping charges on these items, as the rate is based on weight, not item cost.
Large orders can also be accommodated. We use common carrier to deliver to your home or job site. Loads are coordinated in-house and are scheduled as conveniently as possible. Freight charges are based upon how much of the truck is used. Please call for estimated freight charges and estimated shipping dates. Smaller orders may also be able to be delivered by our in-house shipping department, if the delivery address falls within a 300 mile radius of our establishment. Pick-up can also be arranged, if desired.
We have many items that are too large to be put in a box. These varieties and sizes are not listed on this web site. Please call to receive a current availability. TERMS OF SALE: Payment in full is expected at time of order with major credit card, although the charges are not processed until day of shipment. Sales tax will be added to all orders shipped to an Ohio address. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Your order will be charged to your credit card at time of shipment. C.O.D. orders cannot be processed. Cancelled and/or refused orders may be subject to a restocking charge of 20% of total order. PLEASE NOTE: This online order system does NOT automatically charge your credit card. Each order is reviewed and processed by one of our employees.
You are invited to order plants now for shipment later. This feature is especially useful for ordering stock during the winter season. We will process your order, send an order acknowledgement, and put a "hold" on the plant stock for you. Please specify an approximate shipping date at time of order. We will ship the items to you as close to that date as possible.
SHIPPING CHARGES: Orders are shipped prepaid to their destination via United Parcel Service. Orders are shipped as soon as possible after receipt, usually 1-2 weeks. We only ship on Monday and Tuesday, to allow adequate time for a weekday delivery (our product is considered perishable and we make every effort to get our plants to you with a 1-3 day ship time). PLEASE NOTE: We will ship to street addresses only. Our online order system is designed to automatically calculate UPS costs to your area. QUALITY GUARANTEE:
We pledge to provide our customers with top quality, hardy plant material. Plants are individually selected, hand-packed and shipped with the utmost care. When plants are received, please inspect carefully and report any damage to our customer service staff within three working days of order receipt. We assure you that the stock you receive will be in live growing condition, and under normal conditions, will thrive and flourish. We will not be assume responsibility for factors out of our control, such as extreme heat or cold, lack of plant knowledge, neglect or inadequate growing conditions, etc. All order problems must be reported to our customer service staff within three working days of receiving order. We will strive to handle all complaints and/or problems in a prompt and satisfactory manner.
PLEASE do not refuse a delivery on your order. If the package appears damaged in any way, please accept it. Open the box and examine the contents. Plants are flexible and able to absorb minor damage to their surroundings. Many times, a damaged plant will rebound and recover quickly. Call us and report the damage. We will decide on a case-by-case basis, any additional steps to take to maintain customer satisfaction.
PLEASE NOTE: Some live plants will look droopy and wilted upon arrival. Box shipment is stressful on these plants, but they should respond quite nicely to proper care. Soak the roots in a tub for 4-5 hours and sprinkle the foliage with water. Plant as directed and water regularly. If the plants do not show signs of improvement after six weeks, return the ORIGINAL SHIPPING LABEL along with your written replacement request. Sorry, but we are not able to process replacement without the original shipping label.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEE: It is our intent to be your main source for plant stock and as such, we place a great emphasis on customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with any plants you receive, simply return the item and the original shipping label within three (3) days of receipt. We will refund the purchase price, but cannot refund any shipping charges.
