Small, 6" tall x 6" wide, green foliage clumps produce slender stems of dainty, white, bell-shaped, sweet scented flowers in late spring. Thrives & spreads rapidly in moist soil. In drier & hotter soils, it survives quite well but does not spread. Space plants 6-12" apart in shade or dense shade. Tiny fruits are poisonous. Perfect as a border at the edge of the woodland garden or as a shade loving groundcover.
