Fresh Herb, Rosemary
Rosmarinus officinalis

Price: $12.49

Availability: IN STOCK

Considered a symbol of fidelity and remembrance, a ribbon-tied sprig of Rosemary is often used to decorate at weddings, funerals, and other fresh bouquets.  It is also used in liniments and cosmetics and is a favorite cooking spice.  Rosemary is a woody stemmed herb well known for its pungently aromatic, needle like leaves.  The culinary uses for Rosemary are unlimited and is commonly used as a seasoning for lamb, pork, chicken and other meat dishes as well as flavoring stews, sauces, marinades, vegetables and breads.

Harvesting:  Cut the tender stems at the top at the branches (not the woody stems down near the base of the plant) at any time.  To dry: Hang branches upside down; when stems are dry, strip leaves from them and store in a dry cool cabinet.
